Our Commitment

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 16, 2026

Mahi Pasha Event Design is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet the level AA conformance criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer)
  • Skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen-reader users
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Form labels, hints, and error messages associated programmatically
  • Alternative text on meaningful images
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI)
  • Touch targets sized at least 44×44 pixels on mobile
  • Honoring prefers-reduced-motion for users sensitive to motion
  • Modal dialogs with focus management, focus trap, and escape-key dismissal
  • Responsive design that works at 200% zoom and on mobile devices
  • Compatibility with current versions of common assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We continue to work toward full conformance.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, the following content may have accessibility limitations:

  • Third-party content (e.g., embedded social-media posts, payment forms from Stripe) may not always meet our accessibility standards. We work with our vendors to encourage accessible practices.
  • Older blog posts imported from external sources may have inconsistent heading structure or missing alternative text on inline images. We are progressively remediating these.
  • Complex visual content such as event photography may rely on descriptive alt text that does not fully convey the visual experience.
