Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We continue to work toward full conformance.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, the following content may have accessibility limitations:

Third-party content (e.g., embedded social-media posts, payment forms from Stripe) may not always meet our accessibility standards. We work with our vendors to encourage accessible practices.
Older blog posts imported from external sources may have inconsistent heading structure or missing alternative text on inline images. We are progressively remediating these.
Complex visual content such as event photography may rely on descriptive alt text that does not fully convey the visual experience.
